Threads is big on credibility. Start your hook by stating your credibility and the platform will reward you.

List anything that makes you credible - trust me, the Threads algorithm will reward you.

2. Research

The best content creators I know are the best researchers.

Constantly analyzing the market, learning from others, and studying viral posts.

I spent months saving viral content I came across.

• I save viral posts on Threads

• Watch viral YouTube videos in my niche

• Read upvoted answers on Quora/Reddit

• Read viral Medium articles

• consume book summaries on Blinkist

• …the list goes on…

It doesn’t matter where you consume good content, but it matters that you do! After countless hours of research on what works on Threads, I shared my viral topic ideas with my client and she executed perfectly.

So remember:

Once you know what topics to write about and how to phrase your hooks, your posts are impossible to flop.

3. Focus on Long-Form Threads

I still see many people on Threads only writing short-form posts.

While they are much easier to do than long-form threads, they don’t have the same weight behind it.

Long-form threads are high risk, high-reward - meaning if they perform they will make you grow waaaay faster.

Why?

Because, unlike short-form posts, they require more time investment from your audience. And the more attention the reader gives you the more likely they are to follow you.

4. Be Unique

Most content on Threads is generic, boring, and repetitive.

So how do you stand out?

Speak your truth!

And your deepest truths can be controversial. There's a great quote that holds true here: "He who dares not to offend cannot be honest.”

Meaning - if you’d be completely honest, you’d become controversial by default. Controversy is nothing to aim at. Aim at honesty and the readers you need will find you.

So stand out by voicing the things nobody dares to speak about to make your writing immortal. You might encounter hate but you will also gain a true loyal following and trust within your audience.

So for Conni - her credibility as a Breath Coach + her courage to voice her beliefs made her go viral repeatedly.

5. Proofreading

In academia, it’s normal to proofread each others’ content but I don’t see many online creators leverage that.

Letting a fresh pair of eyes look over your content is gold - they spot mistakes you overlooked.

To this day I let others look over my content because I know there’s always something to improve.

And it makes my writing sooooo much better.

So I do the same with all my clients - I look over their writing, comment, edit, and make suggestions.

Proofreading is the quickest way to become one of the best writers on the platform.

6. Engagement Group
